Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Greg Goldsack has been making dance floors erupt since 1995 with his dirty, sticky beats. He is known as one of the best underground DJs in Canada and has played his signature sound all over North America, Europe, Asia, Scandinavia, Malta and Mexico. Greg has had the privilege of playing opening sets for many well know artists such as Macy Gray, Moby, Nine Inch Nails, Bedouin Soundclash as well as playing beside top International DJs and producers such as the Chemical Brothers, Danny Tenaglia, Richie Hawtin, Groove Armada, Felix da Housecat, John Acquaviva, Armand Van Helden, Eric Morillo, Josh Wink, Junior Sanchez, Damian Lazarus, Derrick May just to name a few. Greg has played prestigious festivals like the Quart Festival in Norway, and Unionfest in Mexico City which are considered some of the best music festivals in the world. Throughout the last decade Greg has given music production his undivided attention. He has released many records on top notch labels such as Definitive Recordings, Pearlicka Records, Funky Monk-E Recordings, Karma Recordings, Fifth Sun Recordings, Avioground Records and on his own label, Pimp Recordings, which is considered a highly reputable label for today's standards. Aside from releasing records he recently finished scoring his first film. Greg’s other true passion in addition to music is film directing and being a Prop Master. Astonishingly, he has worked on over 750 TV commercials, feature films, TV series and music videos over the last 15 years. Whether it's through music he produces or the films he directs, Greg’s vision is exceedingly above average. Experiencing a live performance by Mr. Goldsack is irrefutably one of the most spirited and engaging adventures. Some of the most imaginative people could not even conjure up the amount of energy and presence Greg puts forth for his audience. A show with Greg Goldsack is a show that one should never miss.

Rules: The remixes will be send by http://www.soundcloud.com/goldsackremixes in 320 kbps. We are looking for remixes in the genres: Minimal, Techno, Tech-House, House, Progressive House, Deep House, Electronica Downtempo and Dubstep. Of course this is what we're looking, but if you wanna blow us away with other style you're more than welcome!
The winners will have to send us a 16bit WAV file of their remix to distribute to different DJs so they can promote the remix (DJs need quality ).
Prize: Since we're a netlabel and our goal is to distribute free music, so we can't offer you money, but the winners will be featured in the release of the remixes along with 3 remixes from the house that join our netlabel, and the winners will be granted a 16bit WAV version of Greg Goldsack "One Track Mind EP" and the best into "Let's Start a Riot EP". Also the EP will be distributed in forums from all over the world so you can get some 15 min. fame ;)
